A well-established capital equipment dealership is searching for a Territory Sales Representative to join its expanding team. This role is suited to a driven, autonomous professional who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and delivering solutions to customers across the heavy construction equipment sector.

You’ll manage a defined territory and take responsibility for the full sales cycle of heavy equipment sales and rentals. The right individual will possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the discipline to operate independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with customers across your assigned region
  • Drive equipment sales and rentals through face-to-face visits, calls, networking, and lead generation
  • Record all activity (visits, quotes, pipeline updates) accurately and consistently
  • Demonstrate product knowledge across key brands and attachments, delivering value-based solutions
  • Maintain market awareness, identifying and responding to competitor movement and customer needs
  • Be available for your customers when needed – building trust through responsiveness and reliability
  • Attend occasional industry trade shows and off-site training sessions

The ideal candidate will have:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous sales experience in Construction CE, agricultural equipment, or construction-related machinery
  • External Sales (out on the road) experience and success
  • Strong organisational, time-management, and communication skills
  • Experience using CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite
  • A motivated, self-starting mindset with a solution-first approach
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within your territory
