An established and fast-growing dealer in aggregate equipment (crushers, screeners, conveyors) is seeking a Parts Manager to take full ownership of its Des Moines location parts operation. This is a hands-on role for someone ready to drive performance, build customer relationships, and run a tight, efficient parts department.

  • Manage all parts operations for the Des Moines site, including inventory control, logistics, ordering, and customer fulfilment.
  • Work closely with sales and service teams to ensure parts availability supports customer needs and minimises downtime.
  • Process orders, generate quotes, handle warranty claims, and manage returns with accuracy and speed.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.
  • Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and manage replenishment to balance availability with inventory investment.
  • Lead and develop parts coordinators and support staff, setting standards for service, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Continuously improve processes, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Proven experience in parts management, preferably in aggregate, construction, or heavy equipment dealerships.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, procurement, and parts logistics.
  • Ability to lead by example, coach team members, and maintain high performance standards.
  • Comfortable using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter who can manage priorities and work independently.
