A high-growth Construction Equipment OEM is looking to appoint a driven Key Account Manager to oversee and grow a well-established dealer network across the Northeast region. This role is about partnerships, not product drops. If you’re passionate about helping dealers succeed and know how to move the needle in compact equipment sales, keep reading.

About the Opportunity

This is a strategic growth role, not a typical territory sales gig. You’ll be responsible for developing mid-tier dealerships into top-performing partners while supporting existing high-value relationships. You’ll coach dealer sales teams, identify friction points, and guide local marketing strategies to increase showroom conversions and brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

As Key Account Manager, you will:

  • Build long-term relationships with dealership teams across a 7-state territory
  • Advise dealers on marketing, showroom strategy, and customer targeting
  • Drive engagement across parts, warranty, and aftersales channels
  • Own account performance and implement solutions that deliver measurable results
  • Deliver product training and support at dealer and end-user events
  • Use local market knowledge to influence dealer growth plans

The ideal candidate will have:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Construction or Agricultural CE sales
  • Experience working with or selling attachments is advantageous
  • A consultative, relationship-first sales approach, this is not a cold-call role
  • Proven success in growing dealer accounts and increasing regional turnover
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to navigate across dealer departments
  • A self-starter mindset, comfortable operating independently and owning results
