We’re working with a growing construction technology business that installs and supports advanced systems on heavy equipment – things like machine control, GPS guidance, sensors, and automation tools used on job sites across the U.S.

They’re scaling quickly and need more people on the ground to support live projects.

Role Overview

If you’re someone who knows their way around hydraulics, electrics, and heavy kit - and you’d rather be out on-site than in a shop, this role puts you right in the middle of it. You’ll be travelling to customer sites setting up and fixing machine control, guidance systems, sensors, and other tech that’s driving automation across construction equipment.

Nice to have (not essential):

  • Experience with machine control, GPS, Trimble, Leica, Topcon, sensors

  • Guarenteed 40-hour week (average hours above 60)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing and troubleshooting systems on heavy equipment (excavators, etc.)
  • Working with hydraulics, electrical systems, GPS, and sensors
  • Travelling to job sites across the U.S.
  • Provide hands-on support and training to operators, making sure they get the best out of our solutions.
  • Diagnosing issues and fixing problems in real time
  • Share observations and issues with team to collectively resolve difficult problems.
  • Communicate and catalog detailed records of service visits.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working on heavy equipment / construction equipment
  • Strong mechanical + hydraulic + electrical troubleshooting
  • Comfortable being in the field and travelling regularly
  • Hands-on experience working with heavy machinery or similar equipment.
  • Willing to travel and work on the field frequently across the U.S. (up to 80%)
  • Able to work independently on remote job sites
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
