Location: Multi-state responsibility, HQ in IL

Territory: National

A fast-growing, multi-location dealer in Material Processing CE is looking to appoint a Director of Aftermarket to take full ownership of its parts function across a large regional footprint.

This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for parts performance, inventory strategy, vendor relationships, and team development. You will operate at both strategic and operational levels, driving availability, margin, and service across the business.

This is a high-impact role with genuine influence over how the parts function at scale. If you have led regional or national parts operations and are ready for a Director-level position with autonomy and responsibility, this is worth exploring.

  • Full accountability for parts operations across multiple branches and states.
  • Lead inventory planning, forecasting, procurement, logistics, and supplier performance.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership, sales, service, and operations to align parts support with customer demand.
  • Build, lead, and develop Parts Managers and regional teams, setting clear standards and expectations.
  • Strengthen supplier relationships to improve pricing, lead times, and fill rates.
  • Oversee quoting, order processing, warranty claims, returns, and core management.
  • Improve systems, reporting, and processes to support scale and growth.

The ideal candidate will have:

Requirements

  • Senior-level parts leadership experience within aggregate, construction, or heavy equipment dealerships.
  • Strong commercial understanding of inventory control, supply chain, vendor negotiation, and margin management.
  • Proven experience leading multi-location teams across a wide geographic territory.
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on.
  • Strong systems capability, including inventory platforms and standard business tools.
  • Willingness to travel regularly
