Kane Selection Ltd is proud to represent a globally recognised manufacturer of aggregate and sand washing plants. Due to continued growth and strategic expansion across Canada, they are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive development across Ontario.

About the Role:

As Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of sales growth across Ontario. You will be responsible for delivering annual revenue targets, strengthening market presence, and identifying long-term strategic opportunities within the aggregate and sand washing sector.

This is a consultative, capital equipment sales role with long sales cycles, technical engagement, and high-value projects.

Location

Must be based in Ontario, ideally close to Toronto, or willing to relocate.

Commercial and Technical Capability

Comfortable handling consultative sales discussions involving technical plant solutions and commercial negotiations.

Strong Communication Skills

Able to influence stakeholders at operational and executive levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and convert regional opportunities for wet processing and washing plant projects across the target market
  • Build and manage trusted customer relationships through the full consultative capital sales cycle
  • Identify and progress new business opportunities, agents, and introducers within the region
  • Lead internal technical and commercial teams to structure and deliver winning project solutions
  • Maintain and grow a structured pipeline and CRM database of prospects and projects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven business development or capital sales experience within aggregate, mining, or wet processing equipment environments
  • Strong technical and process understanding of washing or materials processing solutions, with credibility on complex plant projects
  • Relationship-led operator who can manage long consultative sales cycles and major capital negotiations
  • Self-starting, field-driven professional comfortable leading opportunities independently across a regional territory
  • Commercially astute, able to identify, qualify, and progress high-value projects from concept through contract
